Remember how people used to put cameras on the tables at weddings? Now everyone has a cell phone. Here are two fun images from this Saturdays wedding involving an iPhone and a Blackberry.

Oregon Governor, Senators, and Congressman

This week I had the opportunity to photograph our Governor (Ted Kulongoski), both Senators (Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden), and Congressman David Woo, all on the same day. Here are some shots from their speeches and tour of Gnentech in Hillsboro, OR.

Portland Spirit Cruise with Nike

I had a fun night cruising the Willamette on the Crystal Dolphin boat through Portland Spirit. http://www.portlandspirit.com/ If you haven't done it, the cruise on the Willamette gives some great different perspectives to the city. Bring some out of towners, or even a local. See Portland in a new way. Nike employees seem to have more fun than the average..... Enjoy these fun shots of Portland.

30's era stylized engagement images

Kyla and Dax are getting married at the West End Theater in downtown Portland. With Dax's background in comedy and acting they are keeping with the theme and using their engagement session to create 30's Era actor head shots like Humphrey Bogart and Betty Davis. These will be used in the West End Theater's Marquee box, as well as incorporated into their guest book. They will also be using our photo booth to help with the vintage feel of their event. http://www.portlandphotobooth.com/ Using your photography to help with he theme of your event is an awesome way to take advantage of your photography package. Here are some of my favorites from the session. Enjoy!

Hollywood kiss (practicing for the big event)
Lovers embrace
Most of the shots we studied had cigarettes but we decided Scotch was more "this century"

Wouldn't you give this starlet a role in your next movie?

an iphone moment

What would a wedding be without an iphone. Capturing this type of image can bring you back to what it wasreally like to be there during this "iphone moment" You can't have a dance without 20 of these popping up in the crowd. ;-)

Cheers!

Soren
